Chianti Classico made with 100% Sangiovese grapes from a single vineyard. There is peculiar aromatic complex of this wine, which embodies a very complex spicy component to a ripened fruit.

Made in méthode champenoise, our organic sparkling offers energetic bursts of Asian pear and green apple on the palate, with suggestions of freshly-baked sourdough bread on the finish.

Red and black fruits of fresh ripe cherry, plum, wild strawberry, and fresh blackberry roll out of the glass and onto the palate. An exotic dimension is added with the tone of Chinese five spice - namely anise and nutmeg - as well as other baking spices lent by the oak, while a lingering earthy aroma provides a tip of the cap to something decidedly more old world.

For thousands of years the Pomo people have lived in this beautiful valley they call the Sanel (sha-nel). At the historic Fairbairn Ranch in Hopland, the last hop kiln built in Mendocino County overlooks 22 acres of Syrah planted in 1994. Our Vineyard is farmed self-sufficiently, free of pesticides and chemical, and is certified Biodynamic® by the Demeter Association.
