A pleasant fruity wine with notes of pear, apricot and floral hints...fresh, harmonious and well balanced...ideal with starters, delicate first course dishes, fish, white meats...or perfect for a very hot summer day!
Our decadent alcohol-removed Moscato opens with gorgeous aromas of rose petals and peaches, framed by a palate of sweet, creamy flavors and a lovely, lingering finish.
This Weisser Burgunder grows on warm, southwest-facing vineyard slopes where the gray slate soils store the sunshine by day and distribute it back to the vines by night. As a result, the fruit can stay longer on the vine, encouraging supple, juicy wines with intense aromas of melon and banana. The unmistakable Saar acidity provides a final polish and clarity that inspired the diamond on the label.
Green-blue notes of green apple, kiwi, elderflower, and mint cross paths with scrub brush, pineapple and resinous eucalyptus on the nose. An assertive palate turns up chewy salted lime texture, limestone chalk, and a breath of cool resinous herbs to finish.
To preserve all the delicate flavors that the vine produced, we generally harvest all grapes by hand, press with gentle pressure and do as little intervention in the cellar as possible. But we invest something essential: time. Patience and time pay off in viticulture and pressing, fermentation and maturation. We don't do any Fining, the sedimentation occurs naturally, only little amounts of Sulfur is added.
