Beautifully textured and mouthfilling. Complex flavors of plum strawberry, black raspberry, chocolate, minerals, and black pepper spice.
Suprisingly lucious and full-bodied considering the wine’s color. A velvety and mouth-coating texture, beautiful red fruit: cranberry, pomegranate and darker hints of black raspberry and plum. Great acidity to balance the sweetness of the fruit, and a long, sweet fruit-filled finish.
The wine offers aromas of ripe cherry and raspberry, spicy black pepper, ample soft tannins, balanced acidity and a long finish.
Vived black cherry notes and soft-tannin make this Zin a local favorite.
Old Vine Mendocino Zinfandel is a treasure. Grown on the benchlands and slopes of mountainsides — this 60 plus year old vine Zinfandel was named for these wild- looking vines and also for the uninoculated, or “wild,” yeast ferment that was used to create it. It takes a lot of effort to tame this wild fruit, but it is worth all the trouble. 80% Zinfandel, 10% Carignane, 9% Petite Sirah, 1% Alicante Bouschet
Winner of the Silver Medal, 2015 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, this 100+ year-old Zinfandel estate vines are located on the foot of the Mayacama benchlands.
A classic full-bodied California Zinfandel with bright berry fruit and a hint of spice.
A SIP customer favorite with flavors of dark cherry, mocha and freshly ground black pepper from Mendocino Ridge.
