Broc Cellars 2017 Counoise
Broc Cellar's winemaker & owner, Chris Brockway lives in Berkeley California - "Our goal in making wine is to bring out the natural expression of the grape." Counoise is traditionally known as a blending grape that grows in the Southern Rhone Valley of France. Broc Cellars initially planned on blending their bottling as well, however the Eagle Point Counoise is unique from what's typically seen in the few plantings that exist in the whole state. This beautiful wine stands on its own - medium bodied with balanced acidity, and a touch of white petter and a smooth and elegant finish.
